Freedom24 Eyes Switzerland as European Expansion to Move Into Wealth Management

by

Freedom24, the European investment platform of
Nasdaq-listed Freedom Holding Corp., is assessing Switzerland as a potential
long-term market and is exploring a possible presence in Geneva.

The potential Swiss expansion comes as Freedom24
broadens its European financial-services strategy. Last month, the company
opened its
proprietary Tradernet platform to AI tools
through the Model Context
Protocol and said it was pursuing a European banking licence.

In June, Finance Magnates reported that Freedom24 was
expanding beyond its
traditional brokerage model into a broader technology platform
in Europe.
The company said it served more than 600,000 clients across the EU and EEA and
was exploring a European banking licence as part of its expansion strategy.

Freedom24 Assesses Switzerland Under MiFID Framework

Alongside these developments, Freedom24 said it is evaluating
opportunities in private wealth management, digital financial infrastructure,
artificial intelligence and data governance.

It is also considering models that
combine Switzerland’s relationship-based wealth management approach with
technology developed by the wider Freedom Group.

The assessment will draw on Freedom24’s existing
European infrastructure, including Tradernet, its proprietary investment
platform, and Neo Compliance, an AI-based solution supporting compliance and
risk management.

Freedom24 currently serves clients across the EU and
EEA under its Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission licence and the MiFID
II framework.

Geneva Seen as Technology Integration Base

Evgenii Tiapkin, CEO of Freedom24, said Switzerland’s
established financial sector was a factor in the company’s interest in the
market. “Switzerland has long been a benchmark for private wealth management,
institutional discipline, and work based on client trust,” he said.

Tiapkin said Geneva could provide a base for combining
those capabilities with the group’s existing technology. “Geneva is a logical
location to explore how these strengths can be combined with our technologies
and operational experience in Europe,” he added.

As part of the assessment, Freedom24 said it plans to
engage with Swiss financial, technology and scientific communities.

Any future operations would require the necessary
regulatory authorisations. The company said it will provide further details as
the market study progresses.
